*All Team Challenges are worth points that go towards your final TEAM score. Point Values are a One-Time use. The judges will select the “Best of” each submission to award side prizes.Only the “Trashiest Team” will have prizes awarded for both the Adult and Youth Division. Adult and Youth divisions submissions will be judged together in the other TEAM Challenge categories.
Intro Selfie- Take 10-12 seconds to introduce your Team to the rest of the participants in the
Tournament. You can have as much fun with this as you’d like. Please keep in mind that this will
be seen by all Teams in the Tournament. Be Respectful. Along with the points, the “Best of” will
receive a side prize.
Going Gruene- This challenge is designed for teams to show judges how you use your Gruene
Outfitters gear. Whether it’s Logo gear or anything you’ve purchased at the store, capture this in
10-20 seconds of video. Along with the points, the “Best of” will receive a side prize.
Dawn Patrol- The points, and prize for this challenge will be awarded to the first team each day
of the tournament to submit a fish video from the species list.
Hysterical (Historical) Marker- This challenge is to Highlight and share some of the Great
landmarks in Texas. Whether it's fact or fiction, film 10-20 seconds (onsite of the landmark)
explaining why, or why you think it has had an impact on Texas History. Along with the points,
the “Best of will receive a side prize.
Trashiest Team- This will be awarded to One team in both the adult and youth division that
picks up the most trash along any public waterway in Texas. For teams to receive the awarded
points you must AT LEAST fill the yellow trash bag provided in your swag bag. Please capture the
disposal of the trash bag in a 10-12 second video.
Longest Fish- Teams will receive points per inch and the awarded species points on their longest
catch. Measurements MUST be taken with the provided tape and be in clear view in the video
frame. You can capture several fish, but only the longest will be counted for points. Please try to
capture this in 10-12 seconds as well.
